In order to retake the throne which slipped through their fingers last year, the driver makes the BMW Z4 GT3 his fighting machine and battles out the 2013 season with the double-ace team of Taniguchi and Kataoka!
・The podium out of the gate! An auspicious start at 2nd place!
With a clever race strategy, he boosts his ranking from 6th place to 2nd place.

・A punctured tire strikes Miku Z4！
Despite inferior straight speed, Miku Z comes out in front with his pit tactics. However, while running the third, his rear tire bursts. It started at the first corner so they needed to run the lap with the puncture.

・Struggles hard to qualify
Due to some trouble with water temperature, as well as the tire and road’s matching, the bad situations piled up and resulted in16th place. Despite qualifying at 6th place at the final decision, going up from there would be a difficult proposition.

The plan for revival also ends in failure.
In the middle of the race, suddenly it started raining with no signs of stopping.
Miku Z4, unable to move up in the lineup, decided to make a gamble and change to rain tires. Unfortunately, the rain soon calmed down and even with returning back to their slick tires, they lost too much time…

・BMW’s Works Driver arrives!
Jörg Müller, a works driver from BMW is dispatched. With his first time racing GT, he matches the times of the leading team and shows his true abilities.
・Change from 2nd place and are disqualified.
Doing something only a trio of truly skilled drivers can do, with a strategy of doing a pit stop once more than the others they make 2nd place! However, the car inspection didn’t go through after the race so the ruling was disqualification.

・Victory after a year and four months!
Finally, the victory that had eluded the team since the Fuji race in May, 2012 had arrived. After an exquisite race, the first race of the season at Fuji Speedway was won.

・A project first, 2 win streak！
Qualifying day was canceled due to inclement weather, and an anomalous schedule was decided on in which the qualifiers and the finals would take place on the same day. In this unexpected situation the two drivers have a strong race and surprise all by coming out with a 2 win streak and raising their rank to 2nd place. In an instant they suddenly were in reach of the championship.

・A shame！Unable to take the title！
“Will they take the title with this unstoppable momentum!?” is what was the general consensus was, but they placed 4th in the last race and ended the race with their series ranking at 3rd place overall.

- - GOODSMILE LEGEND CUP 2013　Qualifying：1st→21th(Penalty imposed due to being too early and demoted to 21st place)　Finals：1st
・The legend cup taken by the Ukyo and Taniguchi duo！
The legend cup was raced with the Toyota 86 painted in the same colors as Miku Z4.
In 2013 the Legend Driver and the driver from the 86 race teamed up. They started the race at nearly the back of the pack but they gave it their all and came out in front with the win.
・The first race is retired
Kataoka who was to drive the first race, ran into machine difficulties from the start which forced him to retire from the race.
The second race gets to the podium with 3rd place!
Taniguchi came out in the second race. By keeping control in the opening conflict, he was able to steadily increase his position and finished the final race of 2013 in 3rd place.
